Solana Tops RWA Inflows With $348M in 30 Days

The flow leader flips

Solana has taken the top of the real-world-asset league table this month, drawing $348 million in net inflows over the past 30 days, more than Ethereum and Stellar managed combined. The figures come from the RWA Foundation, the cleanest read on where institutional tokenization is actually landing.

Solana's total RWA value jumped 11.13% to roughly $4.23 billion. Ethereum grew just 0.77% over the same window. Momentum and installed base are pulling in opposite directions.

Ethereum still owns the stock

On absolute size there is no contest. Ethereum held close to $17.2 billion in tokenized assets at the end of August, more than four times Solana's total. Measure the market by capital parked today and it is still an Ethereum market. Solana is winning the margin, not the core. The trader's question is whether inflow momentum converts into share, and so far it has done so slowly, since the largest tokenized funds, led by BlackRock's BUIDL, still sit on Ethereum.

Treasuries and tokenized equities do the work

Tokenized US Treasuries anchor the Solana story, at $1.2 billion and up 16% on the period. Equities are the second lever: Solana's DEX venues cleared $5.8 billion in tokenized stocks in the second quarter, an estimated 95% to 97% of global on-chain DEX volume in that segment. Here Solana is not the challenger. It is the incumbent. The mechanics explain it: low fees and fast finality suit trading products that spin off many small transactions, and that is exactly where the tokenized-equity flow lives.

The trade

RWAs are the rare fundamental thread that lets SOL trade as infrastructure rather than pure high-beta. A sustained inflow lead supports the case that Solana's throughput and fees make it the better settlement layer for tokenized assets. It is not in the price yet: SOL still tracks the broad crypto tape, and the tokenization premium is unpaid. The risk sits in the stock: while Ethereum holds four times the capital, one month of flow leadership is a snapshot, not a regime change. For the SOL bid, what matters is whether the Treasury and equity inflows outlast September. If the stream thins, the premium unwinds fast.
