About us – who is behind Trading Department
Trading Department brings prices, its own indicators and market news together in one app. Founded in 2025 by Philipp Henk and Edgar Prediger.
We build Trading Department: a market dashboard for prices, our own indicators and financial news. We have been working with crypto, finance and trading for years. Our idea was to combine prices, our own indicators and market news in one app. That is how Trading Department came about. The platform has been online since 2025.

Philipp Henk – Co-founder

Edgar Prediger („EzR3aL“) – Co-founder
Ten years of experience in crypto and DeFi, for a long time the largest governance delegate at Aave. Has been actively trading cryptocurrencies for three years and brings solid expertise in data analysis and building trading bots. X @DeFi_EzR3aL · Aave Governance

The dashboard shows the price chart, momentum and news side by side. Besides 200 cryptocurrencies the platform covers 69 US stocks, 11 indices, 8 commodities and 28 FX pairs.

How our news is made
- Sources: Every story is based on verifiable sources: exchange data, company announcements, authorities and established news agencies.
- Draft: Our own editorial system turns them into a first draft quickly: technically assisted and following rules we set ourselves. That way important market moves appear fast, and every article follows the same structure of figures, context and risks.
- Checks: Figures are checked against the source. No buy recommendations, no price targets as promises, risks are named.
- Corrections: We correct errors promptly. Please send hints to kontakt@trading-department.com.
