The numbers

US spot Bitcoin ETFs bled another $64.8M on June 15. It wasn't a one-off: the outflow run now stretches to roughly 13 trading days and has pulled an estimated $4.3B out of the Bitcoin funds. Spot BTC slipped back below $67,000, unwinding most of the prior week's Iran-truce pop that had briefly carried it toward $78K.

Where the money went

The tell sits on the other side of the ledger. In the same session, Ethereum funds took in $22.5M, Solana products $2.7M and XRP vehicles $2.8M. Read together it's clean: institutional money isn't leaving crypto, it's reshuffling inside it. The younger altcoin ETFs — live for only a few months — are now catching the marginal dollar that used to go reflexively into Bitcoin.

What it means for traders

The signal matters more than the size. $64.8M is small next to total AUM; the direction is the point. As long as the altcoin funds keep printing inflows, the market lacks the fuel for a broad risk-off call. If you trade relative strength, the setup is right here: long ETH/SOL/XRP against BTC. The dominance question — whether Bitcoin defends its share — gets settled in the flow data over the coming weeks, not in the headlines. That makes the daily ETF tables worth more of your attention than the spot tape alone.

The catch

Rotation isn't a one-way trade. The altcoin inflows are thin in absolute terms; a single ugly risk session can flip them. And a 13-day Bitcoin outflow streak is its own warning: if the largest ETF bucket keeps leaking and the alts can't fill the gap, rotation curdles into a broad bleed. The next FOMC print is the stress test for the whole structure.
